Cooling Virgin Mojitos

 

Makes 2 servings

 

Ingredients

1 can soda water (La Croix brand, for example; can use lime flavor)

  -NO artificial ingredients, NO added sweeteners

1/2 - 1 lime (depends on how much citrus flavor you want)

12 mint leaves

1 full glass of ice

Stevia drops to taste

 

  • Start with 2 glasses. Place 6 mint leaves in the bottom of each glass and start mashing them with a straw or spoon (can be sliced too) to pull out all their flavor and essence.

  • Fill each glass half full with ice, cubed or crushed.

  • Squeeze lime juice from either 1/4 or 1/2 of a lime into each glass, then drop the lime pieces into the glass (can be cut up into smaller pieces). This step depends on your taste, whether you want to use 1/4 of a lime's juice or 1/2 for each glass.

  • Add 1/2 can of soda water to each glass.

  • Taste and add a couple of drops of stevia for more sweetness. Raw honey can be used also. While it will add sugar to the recipe, it will also add some probiotics and B vitamins if it's raw.

  • Stir and enjoy!

***Please don't consider using Crystal Light, Sprite or any other product with artificial sweeteners, sodium or conventional sugar. You're worth WAY MORE than that, Gorgeous!
